Funding Opportunities

The Mansfield SIAG provided funding to 12 different community groups for 13 social inclusion initiatives in 2024 and are thrilled to present a chance to support social inclusion and connection initiatives aimed at enhancing inclusivity within our community in 2025.

We believe that by working together, we can make a significant impact fostering a culture of social inclusion, thereby enriching the experiences of community members from a diverse range of backgrounds. SIAG aims to increase social inclusivity in all groups including:

• young people
• single parents
• people who are not in education, training or employment
• people from Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Communities
• refugees
• Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people
• people with a disability
• LGBTQIA+ communities
• older people

If you are part of a community group or not-for-profit, organising new or existing programs, we invite you to submit your funding request for consideration. Innovative and creative ideas that target the entire community will be highly valued and encouraged.

What funding is available?

Applicants can apply to receive up to $5,000.

Key dates:

Applications open 23 June 2025
Application close 1 August 2025.

• MDH Respond Project - Mighty Movers school holiday program
• Mansfield Armchair Cinema - View, Chat and Chew monthly movie event
• Cycling without Age - Contribution to trishaw
• Merton Recreation and Memorial Hall Reserve - Digital Drop in Cafe
• Anglican Parish of Mansfield - Plant and Pick
• Mansfield Badminton Association - Hall hire and equipment 
• The Goughs Bay Area Progress Association - program activities 
• Mansfield Let's Talk - 12 coffee and chat sessions 
• Mansfield Social Table Tennis - 2 all ability table tennis tables 
• Active Dads - Activities program
• Jamieson Community Group - Community welcome package
• Jamieson Community Group - Autumn Festival activities 

If you have a proposal for your initiative ready, please complete the application form below or download a copy here(PDF, 182KB) .

If you require the application to be translated into a different language, please email, siag@mansfield.vic.gov.au or call 03 5775 8529.

Alternatively, you can submit your application the following ways:

• Pick up a paper copy of the application form from Council’s Municipal office (33 Highett St Mansfield), complete the application, and submit back to Council
• Send an email to siag@mansfield.vic.gov.au with a written, audio recording or video recording of your idea/initiative
• Call Allison on 0487 033 164 and if unavailable leave a message
