We're pleased to be working directly with the hospital to ensure older people in our community have their needs met with a service that meets the community's expectations.
We continue to provide all services such as home care, personal care, home maintenance, planned activities groups, carer’s respite, Meals on Wheels and volunteer transport, until the transition to MDH on 30 June 2022.
Commonwealth Home Support - MyAged Care (CHSP)
Assists clients to maintain a safe and tidy environment at home.
Provides clients with personal hygiene, monitoring and welfare visits.
Provides a break for carers by caring for the individual within their care.
Provides help with odd jobs around the home that do not require a tradesman.
Meals on Wheels
Meals on Wheels provides, hot appetising and culturally appropriate three course packed meal delivered by Volunteers to clients home within the Mansfield township area. Meals are delivered five days a week, including public holidays. Meals are prepared at Mansfield District Hospital and cater for nutritional and dietary needs.
Residents living in rural and remote areas can be provided with frozen meals, however delivery arrangements will need to be negotiated.
