This is Bonnie's first term as an elected councillor.

Bonnie is passionate about strengthening community connections and creating opportunities for people of all ages across Mansfield Shire. With a background in youth work, community development, and humanitarian assistance, Bonnie brings grassroots understanding of local needs and a commitment to helping the region thrive.

Bonnie holds a Bachelor of International Development with a focus on humanitarian assistance, community resilience and crisis recovery. She has worked extensively with young people and families through her roles in youth engagement programs, community outreach and her current position as Community Development Officer at a local Neighbourhood House. These roles have shaped her collaborative approach and her belief in empowering communities to lead their own solutions.

Over the years, Bonnie has contributed her skills to a wide range of committees and local initiatives. She has previously served as a Director at Community Bank Mansfield & District and as Vice President of the Mansfield Bush Market. Her experience spans strategic planning, community-led project design, governance and emergency response, work she approaches with transparency, empathy, and a strong sense of responsibility.

Bonnie is driven by the idea that strong communities are built through connection, inclusion and shared purpose. As a Councillor, she is committed to advocating for community voices, championing community wellbeing and ensuring that Mansfield Shire continues to be a vibrant, resilient, and welcoming place to live.
