The Mansfield Visitor Information Centre proudly hosts a Community Art Gallery that highlights the incredible creativity and diversity of artists from across Mansfield Shire. This rotating exhibition space provides a platform for both emerging and established local talents to showcase their work to visitors and locals alike.

Gallery exhibitions have featured a wide range of artworks from individuals and community groups, including Iluka Sax-Williams, a Taungurung artist whose work reflects his deep connection to Country and culture, and inclusive contributions from organisations such as Yooralla. It also provides a space for Youth artists to exhibit their emerging talents, fostering the next generation of creatives in our region.

This gallery is an integral part of the Mansfield Arts Walk, a self-guided exploration of public art throughout the township. A brochure outlining the full walk is available at the Visitor Information Centre.

A permanent highlight of the space is the 14-metre Felt Mural, created in 1985 for Victoria’s 150th anniversary. This large-scale community art piece—part of the "Women's Field" project—celebrates the often-unsung contributions of women in Mansfield's history. Led by artist Jean Atkins, the mural was brought to life through the collaboration of over 100 local women and community members.

Additionally, the gallery includes displays of memorabilia and imagery connected to The Man from Snowy River, paying tribute to the film’s local ties and cattleman history.
