Supported Playgroups

Supported playgroups are a safe place for families to socialise and interact with children from 0-6 years of age. The sessions are structured and facilitated by a trained worker using the Smalltalk program.

Supported Playgroups offer support and strategies to build parents skills and confidence to promote their children’s wellbeing and learning.

Term 1 2026 (Starting 28 January)

Mansfield Shire have received funding from the Department of Families, Fairness and Housing (DFFH) to partner with local community groups and support additional playgroup opportunities for our families with children aged 0 - 6 years.  

Monday (Crawl and Play)
  • St Mary's Mercy Centre (39 Malcolm St, Mansfield)
    • Session 1 (0 - 6 years) 9.30am - 11am

You are welcome to attend the whole session or part of it with your children aged 0 - 6 years, please arrive 5 minutes before the session start time.  

Wednesday

  • Mansfield Youth Centre (7 Erril St Mansfield) 10.00am - 12.00pm  
Friday
  • Mansfield Youth Centre (7 Erril St Mansfield) 10.00am - 12.00pm
