Mansfield Shire Council, Mt Buller and Mansfield District Racing Club are proud to announce the 2026 Lexus Melbourne Cup Tour will visit the Mansfield-Mt Buller region on 14-15 August 2026, bringing the iconic 18-carat gold trophy - now valued at a record $1 million - to the heart of Victoria's High Country.

Alex ‘Chumpy’ Pullin grew up in Mansfield, learning to ride the slopes of Mount Buller before going on to become one of Australia's most accomplished snowboard cross athletes — competing at the Winter Olympics in 2010, 2014 and 2018 and achieving podium finishes at the Winter X Games and World Championships. Later in his career, he developed a deep passion for mentoring young people in sport.
