Youth Support Officer (0.4 FTE)

Mansfield Shire Council is looking for an enthusiastic, experienced and community-focused individual to take up the role of Youth Support Officer. This role will support Council’s Youth Program and events team to deliver project outcomes for young people and the wider community. The Youth Peer Worker will support local young people to undertake qualifications, seek out and take up traineeships locally. 

Reporting to the Senior Coordinator Economic Development, the role also includes assisting with the planning of and facilitation, of online and face-to-face meetings, and training alongside local young people. The Youth Support Officer will also support and assist with planning, logistics, and delivery of large and small project gatherings for young people.

Remuneration will be based on Band 4 Level A classification $69,426.76 (pro rata) per annum plus superannuation according to the Mansfield Shire Council Enterprise Agreement 2024.
