Mansfield Shire Council is looking for an enthusiastic, experienced and community-focused individual to take up the role of Finance Officer.The Finance Officer will support and deliver desired outcomes across all areas of the Finance department including accounting functions and reporting, Payroll and Accounts Payable.
The Finance Officer is responsible for assisting with the deadlines for reporting across the Finance team and assisting with day to day tasks.
Reporting to the Coordinator Financial Planning & Analysis, the role also includes assist and action the preparation of statutory returns, reports and acquittals in accordance with Australian Accounting Standards, including financial statements, annual Victoria Grants Commission returns.
Remuneration will be based on Band 5 Level A classification $76,917.88 per annum plus superannuation according to the Mansfield Shire Council Enterprise Agreement 2024.
