Mansfield Shire Council is looking for an enthusiastic, experienced and community focused individual to take up the role of Family Services Practitioner. This position is responsible for providing a comprehensive range of services for vulnerable children (from pre-birth up to 17 years old) and their families to promote children’s safety, stability and healthy development. The focus of the service is to maintain and strengthen independence and provide early intervention to address problems before they escalate.
Reporting to Coordinator Integrated Family Services, this position also has responsibility for input into service planning, policy development and service evaluation. This ensures high quality, cost effective, responsive and customer focused services are delivered in accordance with the applicable legislative funding and policy frameworks.
Remuneration will be based on Band 6A classification $87,215.44 (pro rata for part time) per annum plus superannuation according to the Mansfield Shire Council Enterprise Agreement 2024.
