The North East Aboriginal Art Trail takes you through some of the most scenic areas of North East Victoria and may be comfortably covered in a day. Given what the venues offer though in food, accommodation and fine wines, with planning, the experience can be stretched out to a number of days.

The art trail takes visitors on a journey throughout some of North East Victoria’s most scenic drives, and now includes 6 feature gallery sites, that are incorporated within Visitor Information Centres hotels, major wineries, boutique cellar doors and historic hotels.

Aboriginal Exhibitions Gallery is the sole Victorian representative of Lockhart River Arts Indigenous Corporation (LRAIC) and carries a large stock of their ‘Art Gang’ members’ works. It is also the regional NSW representative of LRAIC. All artworks displayed are for sale with a substantial portion of sales going back to the artists.

Director Hans Sip lives in Wangaratta and is thankful for the collaborative support of the businesses on the North East Aboriginal  Art Trail. Over two hundred fine Aboriginal Art works are on display across a range of wonderful venues in Victoria and one just over the border in Albury. In aggregate, it is the largest display of Aboriginal art in Australia presented by a private gallery.
