A range of free activities are being offered to Mansfield Shire’s young people aged 12-17 and 18-25 years of age over the school holidays. The calendar runs from 11 January to 25 January 2023.
Cr James Tehan said the activities and events have been developed with a view to keeping our young people entertained and connected.
“Ensuring our young people are provided with opportunities to connect with others is one of the objectives of our Youth Strategy and Action Plan,” he said.
“The Youth Program Team have put together a wide range of activities including yoga in the park, a pool party, and a circus workshop delivered by Flying Fruit Fly Circus ensuring there is something that will appeal to everyone. Other highlights include the North East Skate Park Series competition.
“Council respects diversity and values inclusion. Anyone with specific needs who is interested in participating in the activities should make contact with the Youth Team prior to attending the programs.”
These events and activities are made possibly by State Government Engage! Funding.
