Do you know someone who has gone above and beyond in 2025? Nominations are now open for the 2026 Mansfield Shire Citizen Awards.

Categories for nominations include:

  • Citizen of the Year
  • Young Citizen (aged 14-27)
  • Senior Citizen (aged 65 and over)
  • Community Event of the Year and Community Group
  • Organisation of the Year.

Mayor Cr Steve Rabie said that now is the time to acknowledge the quiet achievers and community champions among us.

“These awards are a chance for us to celebrate the people and groups who make Mansfield Shire the best little Shire to live in,” said Cr Rabie.

“Nominating someone is easy, just explain why you think your nominee should be recognised. They might be role models and have excelled in what they do or maybe they are quiet achievers making a real difference to our community.”

“We know there are many unsung heroes and this is a great opportunity to shine a light on their contributions.”

Nominations can be made until 5pm Monday 17 November 2025 and previously unsuccessful nominations will be considered.
