Mansfield Dads Group invites families to Christmas Fun Day

Mansfield Shire’s Dads Group is inviting local families to join in the festive spirit at their Christmas Fun Day on Sunday 7 December from 10:00am to 12:30pm at the Mansfield Youth Centre, 7 Erril Street, Mansfield.

Funded through a Victorian Department of Health Dads Group Grant, the event hopes to bring fathers and children (0-6 years old) together for a fun day of connection and community celebration.

Families can look forward to a range of activities including Christmas craft, games, a jumping castle, and a visit from Santa who will bring a special gift for each child. A free community BBQ will also be provided.

“This event is all about brings dads and their children together and celebrating the important role dads play in their children’s lives,” said Mayor Stevie Rabie.

“It will provide an opportunity for dads and children to connect with other local families.”

Mansfield Dads Group is part of Dads Group Australia, a national not-for-profit organisation that connects and supports fathers and families through local community groups and events. The initiative helps dads build friendships, share experiences, and strengthen their relationships with their children.

The Mansfield group offers regular gatherings and activities for fathers and their children, creating a welcoming space for dads to come together, support one another, and be actively involved in their children’s lives.
