Have Your Say on Mansfield Shire's 10 Year Asset Plan

Council is inviting the community to help shape the management of more than $300 million worth of infrastructure and other assets by providing feedback on the draft Asset Plan 2025-2035.
The Asset Plan guides how Council maintains, renews and upgrades the assets our community relies on every day. This includes local roads, footpaths and shared paths, buildings and community facilities, bridges, stormwater pits and pipes, sportsgrounds, parks and playgrounds.
Community members are invited to join a consultation workshop to discuss the Asset Plan at 4pm Wednesday 13 August.
Mayor Cr Steve Rabie said Council was listening to community members’ needs and expectations as part of updating the Asset Plan.
"Council spends more on maintaining and renewing our assets than on anything else. Given that significant investment, it’s crucial that we get it right," said Cr Rabie.
"We want to hear directly from our community about what is important to them. Your feedback will help us understand the challenges and opportunities we face and will directly influence how we prioritise spending over the next decade.
"The Asset Plan affects everyone, whether you're driving on our roads, playing at our sportsgrounds or using our community halls. I encourage all interested community members to join the consultation workshop on 13 August and help us get the Asset Plan right,” Cr Rabie said.
