Gardener

Mansfield Shire Council is looking for an enthusiastic, experienced and community focused individual to take up the role of a Gardener. The Gardener's will be maintaining existing parks and gardens within the shire and assists in the development of new areas for recreation. This position also has responsibilities associated with cemetery facilities within the Mansfield Shire.

Reporting to the Supervisor Parks and Gardens, the role also includes maintaining reserves, park lands, gardens, streetscapes and urban areas for the enjoyment of the Community as well as maintaining and operating plant and other equipment in a clean, safe and effective working condition and carry out all works in accordance with Occupational Health and Safety regulations.

Remuneration will be based on Band 3 Level A classification $65,977.60 per annum plus superannuation according to the Mansfield Shire Council Enterprise Agreement 2024.

Please note this is a fixed term, full time position until 30 June 2025, with potential ongoing opportunity.
