Mansfield Shire Council is looking for an enthusiastic, experienced and community focused individual to take up the role of Coordinator Waste and Environment. This position is to improve waste management practices in the Councils resulting in a reduction of waste to landfill. The objective of this position is primarily to efficiently and cost effectively manage the Council’s recycling and waste service contracts and to deliver Council’s Waste Management Strategy targets.

Reporting to the Manager Development Services, the role also management of contracts for kerbside and public bin collections, commercial collections, commodity recovery (cardboard, etc.) and the disposal of material collected at the Mansfield Resource Recovery Centre (MRRC).

Remuneration will be based on Band 7 Level A classification $96,287.36 per annum plus superannuation according to the Mansfield Shire Council Enterprise Agreement 2024.
