Waste Service Application

Please note the following before commencing an application:

  • The domestic garbage collection service entitles ratepayers to one garbage bin (red lid), one recycle bin (yellow lid) and one FOGO bin (green lid).
  • Information relating to kerbside waste collections are available from Council.
  • The standard 120 litre garbage service will be provided unless a ratepayer has instructed otherwise. The kerbside waste garbage and recycling collection is not an optional service. If it is provided in your area you must utilise the service.
  • Any issue of new bins for a new dwelling must have a certificate of occupancy, which is to be provided to Council.

Council provides a weekly kerbside waste and fortnightly kerbside recycling and organic service to all properties, with a dwelling, located in the designated service area. Kerbside services are non-optional for such properties and are required to pay the annual waste, recycle and FOGO charges as part of the property rates.
