Report a Damaged Bin

Please note the following before commencing an application:

  • The domestic garbage collection service entitles ratepayers to one garbage bin (red lid), one recycle bin (yellow lid) and one FOGO bin (green lid).
  • Information relating to kerbside waste collections are available from Council.
  • The standard 120 litre garbage service will be supplied with new waste applications unless the ratepayer has instructed otherwise. Mansfield Shire’s kerbside collection service is not an optional service. If it is provided in your area, you must utilise the service. 
  • Any issue of new bins for a new dwelling must have a certificate of occupancy, which is to be provided to Council.

What bin(s) are damaged?

Council provides a weekly kerbside waste and fortnightly kerbside recycling and organic service to all properties, with a dwelling, located in the designated service area. Kerbside services are non-optional for such properties and are required to pay the annual waste, recycle and FOGO charges as part of the property rates.
