Mansfield Shire Council has launched a new Emergency Dashboard on its website, giving the community one central place to find important emergency information as the warmer months approach.

The dashboard brings critical emergency management information into one spot for the community to follow for the latest updates in emergency situations.

Mayor Cr Steve Rabie said staying informed during the bushfire season goes a long way to mitigate risk.

“We all know how quickly conditions can change in our part of the world - having reliable information in one place helps people stay informed and make safe decisions early,” he said.

“I encourage everyone to bookmark the page and to share it with their neighbours. During the 2026 Victorian bushfire season, informing the community was a key responsibility in Council’s emergency management process. We are committed to making sure the community have the information they need, when they need it.”

The Emergency Dashboard aggregates critical emergency management content from sources including VicEmergency, VicTraffic, Country Fire Authority and the Mansfield Weather Station. It is designed to complement official warnings and advice, not replace them. In an emergency, always follow instructions from the emergency services.

Council encourages residents to check on neighbours who may need extra support and to share the page with friends and family.

The dashboard is available at www.mansfield.vic.gov.au/emergency-dashboard.
