Remuneration will be based on Band 3 Level A classification $70,413.71 per annum ($35.63 per hour) plus superannuation according to the Mansfield Shire Council Enterprise Agreement 2024.
Position Description Position Description Patrol Person (PDF, 1.4MB)

Mansfield Shire Council is looking for an enthusiastic, experienced and community focused individual to take up the role of Patrol Person. The successful candidate will carry out maintenance, rehabilitation, and construction works, including maintaining roads, verges, footpaths, kerbs, drainage systems, and signage and guideposts as required.

Reporting to Senior Coordinator Assets and Roads Maintenance, the Patrol Person responsibilities include maintenance and repair of machinery, including minor on-site repairs, manual handling of heavy components, welding, cleaning, and using power tools, as well as drain construction and clearing, including assisting with construction and high-pressure jetting of culverts, vegetation removal, erosion control, shovelling material, operating machines, chainsaws, or pole saws and using hand tools.
