Mansfield Youth Centre
Located on Erril Street, Mansfield Youth Centre is a venue designed by the youth of Mansfield to be a safe, fun place for young people from 12 -18.
It is a place to enjoy events, services and activities in a safe, inclusive and welcoming environment under adult supervision.

The FReeZA committee is a group of young people aged between 12 and 25 years who coordinate and implement youth focused music & cultural events in the Mansfield Shire.
Annually the team plan and implement musical and cultural events held throughout the year. Previous events include "Phruntsyde Skate Jam" and "Rock Out".
Get your Learner’s Permit at our Council offices
Did you know you can sit the test for your Learner’s Permit at our Council offices?
To apply you’ll need to:
- Study for the learner permit knowledge test.
- Book a time to sit the test - call (03) 5775 8555
Bookings can only be taken up to 3 months in advance. Please note the Learner test is paper based, and that appointments are available on Tuesdays to Thursdays at either 8:30am or 3:30pm.
If you require a reader, appointments are preferred at 8:30am.
- Fill out a learner permit application form which is obtained from the Council office.
- Take the knowledge test and an eyesight test.
- Pay for your appointment and Knowledge test and learner permit.
- Appointment and knowledge test is $41.80
- The permit fee once you pass is an additional $24.20

L2P Learner Driver Mentor Program
The L2P Learner Driver Mentor Program assists learners under 21 years of age to gain the driving experience they need to apply for a probationary licence.
Learner drivers are matched with registered volunteer mentors. Using a locally sponsored vehicle, participants undertake regular driving sessions to work toward the mandated 120 hours supervised driving experience.
L2P is a VicRoads initiative funded by the TAC and delivered by Mansfield Shire Council with the support of Martins Garage, Rotary and Mansfield Sign and Print.

MYSPN provides a forum for youth service providers to discuss and plan services to further the wellbeing of young people in our community, access information and inspiration that will strengthen their services and is a collective that represents and acts for the rights and needs of young people in our community.
