The L2P Learner Driver Mentor Program is a VicRoads initiative funded by the Transport Accident Commission. It aims to assist disadvantaged learner drivers under 21 years of age to gain the 120 hours driving experience required to apply for a probationary licence, and to be safer road users! L2P is free for eligible young people, who generally are learners who may not have access to a supervising driver or vehicle of their own.

Young people are matched with fully licensed volunteer mentors and have access to a sponsored vehicle. • be between 16 and 20 years of age
    • have a current Learner's Permit
    • not have any health issues that affect safe driving
