Mansfield Shire Council facilitates Supported Playgroups throughout the shire. Supported Playgroups are a safe place for families to socialise and interact with children from 0-6 years of age.
The sessions are structured and facilitated by a trained worker using the Smalltalk program.
Supported Playgroups offer support and strategies to build parents skills and confidence to promote their children’s wellbeing and learning. To be eligible to attend supported playgroup sessions you or a family member needs to hold a Health Care Card or equivalent, identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander, have children in kinship care or have been referred to Child First.
For session information and to check eligibility please contact Amelia Turner on (03) 5775 8624, Email: firstname.lastname@example.org
