Our Field Services staff do a fantastic job, and despite the current COVID-19 environment, our roads crews strive to maintain our road network to the highest level possible.
Council's Road Management Plan 2017 (Plan) provides the standards for maintenance, repair and inspection of our roads, However, with conditions continually evolving on social distancing, together with our responsibility to ensure the health and safety of our staff and community during this COVID-19 time, Chief Executive Officer, Kaylene Conrick, has temporarily suspended response times for inspections and actions currently set out in the Plan.
Our roads crews will continue to deal with road related enquiries from the community, and will prioritise works in accordance with the road heirarchy as listed in the Plan, and where resources are available to attend to roading issues.
The Plan will be re-enacted in due course, and our community will be advised accordingly.
