Two new staff have joined Mansfield Shire Council in key roles with a third starting in November.
Interim CEO, Peter Reeve said Council has recently filled the Economic Development Officer – Business and Industry, Community Development Officer – Emergency Management and Parks and Gardens Supervisor roles.
“Derek Beautyman started last week as our full-time Economic Development Officer, focusing on business and industry. This is an important role as we this year review our economic development strategy to ensure a medium-term plan is in place to support ongoing
economic growth,” Mr Reeve said.
Mr Beautyman has significant experience working across a broad range of activities including real estate, quality assurance and process analytics.
Tracy Stolman starts with Council today (Monday 7 Oct) in the full-time role of Community Development Officer – Emergency Management.
“Tracy most recently worked across the Hume and Loddon Mallee Regions with Emergency Management Victoria as a Regional Emergency Management Planning Support Officer,” Mr Reeve said.
Ms Stolman coordinated the monitoring, evaluation, review and improvement (MERI) of fire management planning activities across 26 municipalities.
Heath Aromataris, the Parks and Gardens Supervisor will join Council in November.
“Mr Aromataris has horticultural qualifications and comes to us with significant experience having been employed by City of Boroondara for 20 years, most recently as Coordinator Trees.”
