Multiple Ways To Get In Touch With Council During Stage 3 Restrictions
Friday, 14 August, 2020 - 11:00
With Stage 3 Coronavirus restrictions requiring us to stay at home except for four reasons, Mansfield Shire Council is encouraging residents and ratepayers to engage with Council online or via phone.
Mansfield Mayor, Cr Marg Attley OAM said while the Council Customer Service Centre may be closed, staff are still working.
“During this time if residents and ratepayers have any queries they can either call Customer Service on firstname.lastname@example.org . Our team is there to help,” Cr Attley said.
“We are also continuing with community engagement via the Have Your Say platform on our website. There’s a COVID section where we currently have a community wellbeing survey open. We encourage all Mansfield residents to complete it so we can better understand the community’s needs during this time,” she said.
Also on the Have Your Say page, there are details about the Mansfield Planning Strategy, the Statutory Planning Services Review, the Commercial and Industrial Land Use Strategy and the Waste Management Strategy.
With Council meetings all now being live-streamed, Cr Attley reminded people they can submit a question ahead of any of the monthly Council meetings by filling in the form on the website.
“Our team is also collating all the COVID information on our website under the Emergency tab. We include information weekly in the Mansfield Matters section of the Mansfield Courier and share important items on Facebook. I encourage you all to follow our Facebook page so that you don’t miss anything.”
