Having grown-up in Mansfield, Ari Croxford-Demasi has recently been appointed to an important leadership role as Senior Coordinator Field Services with Mansfield Shire Council.
Council’s General Manager, Kirsten Alexander said she was pleased to have Ari in the role after he started with Council as a Project Officer earlier this year.
“Ari heads up a team of 22 people that includes three Council road maintenance crews and the parks and gardens team,” Ms Alexander said.
“We’re pleased to have young people from our community return after they have studied and worked in other roles. Ari has an Honours Degree in Applied Science (Construction Management) from RMIT that he gained while he worked in the industry. He has worked as a site supervisor on large commercial projects in Melbourne as well as a project manager in Tasmania,” she said.
“Ari quickly proved himself after acting in this role for a short time.”
Mr Croxford-Demasi said he looks forward to building upon the great work of his team.
“I am proud to fill such an important role in the community in which I grew up,” Ari said.
Ari was attracted to the position by its leadership of a high-profile team, the wide range of his responsibilities, dealing personally with community members and by being able to deliver solutions for his community.
