The final draft of the first Community Vision for Mansfield has been released for feedback.
After months of engagement with the wider community, Council considered the draft Community Vision 2040 at its meeting on 21 September 2021.
Council is now asking the community to reflect on whether the document accurately represents its vision for the future.
Mayor Cr Mark Holcombe said that Council was grateful to have participated in the process of facilitating the community’s vision.
“This was a project with significant engagement. The resulting vision reflects a passionate, invested community that cares about its future, its environment and its character,” said Cr Holcombe.
The draft Community Vision has an important role in shaping the future of Mansfield Shire. It has been developed by the community for the community to provide shared goals for everyone across the shire to collectively work towards.
