Mansfield Shire Council’s annual Community Matching Fund will open on Monday 10 February, accepting applications until Monday 16 March 2020. Grants of up to $5000 are available for not-for-profit groups based in the Mansfield Shire for projects that will help build a stronger, healthier and more sustainable community.
Speaking about the program, Mayor, Cr. Marg Attley OAM said, “The Community Matching Fund is one way Council supports local groups to build on the great work of their volunteers and deliver fantastic results for our community.”
“Council is proud of this contribution and extremely pleased to continue to support the Community in this way again in 2020.”
Applications must be made through an online application that can be accessed through Council’s website.
To learn more about the application process and how to make successful grant applications, community members should attend the Grants Training Workshop delivered by Council’s Community Development Team at the Mansfield Library on Wednesday 12 February at 6pm.
