Mansfield Shire Council and Mt Buller Mt Stirling Resort Management have released a range of images and short video clips as part of a new marketing campaign, #NoBetterTime, to entice visitors back to our region.
Mayor, Cr Marg Attley OAM, said the campaign was developed in response to a difficult summer.
“Our economy took a big hit from being in the declared disaster zone and we can’t change that. What we can do is try and minimise the ongoing and long-term impact,” Cr Attley said.
“By having a joint marketing approach with businesses and Mt Buller, it will provide our region the most exposure to the visitor market.”
Cr Attley said this campaign highlights the best of the community’s collaborative spirit, with many people giving generously of their time and resources to get the package together.
#NoBetterTime showcases the region’s unique combination of stunning scenery and nature-based activities within Mansfield, Mt Buller and Mt Stirling.
The images are available to local tourism operators and small businesses for use on social media to pique interest and encourage visitation with a call to action on www.mansfieldmtbuller.com.au , #nobettertiime & #mansfieldmtbuller.
Mansfield Shire Council would like to thank the following individuals for their generosity:
Andrew “Rails” Railton - Professional Commercial Photographer
Steve Thompson - Producer/Director Appaloosa Films
Tex McKay – Reel Air Imagery
Christian & Laura Hayes – Hidden Trails by Horseback
Bruce & Deb McCormack – McCormack’s Mountain Valley Trail Rides

“The timing for the #NoBetterTime campaign couldn’t be better with the Federal Government funding a bushfire recovery campaign to encourage Aussies to holiday in Australia,” Cr Attley said.
