BizRebuild Supports 7 Mansfield Businesses with Laptops

Seven Mansfield businesses have received reconditioned Dell laptops through the Business Council of Australia’s BizRebuild program.
Mansfield Mayor, Cr Marg Attley OAM, said the Business Council of Australia (BCA) offered the program after the bushfires.
“A kind sponsor donated the three-year-old refurbished computers to support any businesses that needed additional equipment for a range of reasons, including to move their business online,” Cr Attley said.
“It’s fantastic to think that a national organisation was able to co-ordinate this to support the Mansfield businesses. As a result, a fitness centre, a guided tour business, nursery, giftware store, entertainment centre, towing service and a printing business have new assets for their business,” she said.
BizRebuild chair, Sir Peter Cosgrove said business is the glue that keeps communities together.
“Whether it is bushfires or global pandemic, we need businesses to pull through and keep communities alive,” Sir Peter said.
“Businesses around the country have rallied together to support regional communities through donations and in-kind support. Today’s contribution has been made possible through BizRebuild by APA Group’s donation of refurbished laptops for business owners to help them get back to work, keep more people employed and local economies ticking over,” he said.
Businesses looking for assistance can email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 1800 497 121 for more information on how BizRebuild can support them.
Cr Attley said the timing was perfect as the Buy From Mansfield platform launched yesterday and some of the businesses involved offer their products online.
