400 Residents to Receive Community Satisfaction Survey Call in February

400 Mansfield Shire residents, chosen at random, will soon be asked to complete a phone survey about Mansfield Shire Council’s performance as part of the Victorian government’s annual Community Satisfaction Survey.
Mansfield Shire Mayor, Cr Marg Attley said residents should be aware that in late February they may receive a call from an independent market research agency, National Field Services.
“The survey has been done for the past 20 years. It is undertaken in every municipality across the state. It asks local residents about several key areas of council business and allows us to benchmark against State-wide results and councils within our group; small rural councils,” Cr Attley said.
“We always value feedback from our community and this is just one of the ways we receive it,” she said.
The Community Satisfaction Survey asks questions about overall performance, community consultation and engagement, advocacy and lobbying on behalf of the community, customer service, local infrastructure, facilities and overall council direction.
“The findings give us good feedback so we can work to improve our services to the community,” she said.
