Tourism and Economic Development Traineeship (0.4 FTE)

Mansfield Shire Council is looking for an enthusiastic, experienced and community focused individual to take up the role of Tourism and Economic Development Traineeship.The Tourism and Economic Development Trainee is responsible for supporting the Tourism and Economic Development team with administration and customer service support across the department.

Reporting to the Senior Coordinator Economic Development, the role also includes assisting with retail sales and visitor servicing through providing courteous prompt and accurate information at the Visitor Information Centre. You will also be required to operate a point of sale system, handle cash, maintain appropriate stock levels and general housekeeping.

Remuneration will be based on a Band 2 Level C Trainee classification which currently equates to $16.5461 - $21.5099 per hour depending on the age of the trainee, according to the Mansfield Shire Council Enterprise Agreement 2024
