Mansfield Shire Council’s website has undergone a complete overhaul with a refreshed, attractive design making it easy for anyone seeking information or wanting to do business with Council.
Mayor Cr James Tehan said the new website made it easier for residents and visitors to interact with Council.
“Council provides over 100 services to our community. Information about these services, together with the large amount of documentation we are required to have available on our website, can make it challenging for users to find what they need.
“Now, you can search almost anything on our new website and be assured that you’ll find relevant and up-to-date information.
“The new website demonstrates our commitment to genuine customer service. Our website is often the first place people go to find information and the improvements to our site make it easier and quicker to find information and conduct business with Council.
To deliver the new site, Council partnered with OpenCities, specialists in building accessible government websites. Key features of the redeveloped site include a cleaner and more attractive design and improved search functionality, navigation and accessibility standards. The new task-focused homepage will link community members quickly and easily to the most used services making it easier than ever to do business with Council.
