Mansfield Shire Draft Municipal Health and Wellbeing Plan 2017-21

At its meeting of 19 December 2017, Council resolved to give notice of its intention to give public notice of the draft Mansfield Shire Municipal Public Health and Wellbeing Plan 2017-21 in accordance with S223 of the Local Government Act 1989.

The draft Plan 2017-21 guides Council's efforts to enhance the health and wellbeing of our community.  It builds on the achievements of the previous Plan 2013-17 and incorporates current needs and priorities identified through both research and community consultation.

A copy of the draft Plan may be inspected at or obtained from the following locations: 

  • Mansfield municipal office - 33 Highett Street, Mansfield (between the hours of 8.30am – 5.00pm Monday to Friday)
  • Mansfield Library in Collopy Street
  • Mansfield Family and Children's Centre in Davies Street; and
  • Council’s website www.mansfield.vic.gov.au

    Any person may make a written submission relating to the draft Plan.  Written submissions must be received by 5.00pm on 15 January 2018.  All submissions received by this date will be considered in accordance with section 223 of the Act.

     

    Any person may, in their written submission, request to be provided with an opportunity to make a verbal representation, or have someone make the representation on their behalf, in support of their submission.

    Written submissions must be lodged in person at the Mansfield municipal office posted to Mansfield Shire Council at Private Bag 1000, Mansfield, Victoria 3724.  Submissions may also be emailed to council@mansfield.vic.gov.au and titled 'Draft Mansfield Shire Municipal Health and Wellbeing Plan 2017-21'.
