Proposed 2017-18 Budget and 2017-18 Fees and Charges
Draft 2017-21 Council Plan including the Strategic Resource Plan

On 18 April 2017 Council formally considered its proposed 2017-18 Budget, proposed 2017-18 Fees and Charges and its draft 2017-21 Council Plan (including the 2017-2021 Strategic Resource Plan).  Draft copies of these documents are available for inspection until 5.00pm, Friday 19 May 2017 from the links below. 

Copies of these documents may also be provided upon request from the Mansfield municipal office, 33 Highett Street.

In accordance with sections 129 and 223 of the Local Government Act 1989, a person has a right to make a submission on the proposed 2017-18 Budget and draft 2017-21 Council Plan.  Any person who wishes to be heard in support of their written or emailed submission should request this in their submission. A meeting will be held on Tuesday, 30 May 2017 from 2.00pm at the municipal office Council chamber to discuss and consider all submissions received.

Council will meet to adopt its 2017-18 Budget, 2017-18 Fees and Charges and its 2017-21 Council Plan at a Special meeting of Council on Tuesday, 27 June 2017, commencing at 3.30pm at the municipal office.

Written submissions must be received by 5.00pm on 19 May 2017.
Submissions in relation to the proposed 2017-18 Budget and Fees and Charges should be forwarded to:

Submissions in relation to the draft Council Plan 2017-21 should be forwarded to: 
Ms Dawn Bray, Governance Co-ordinator, Mansfield Shire Council, Private Bag 1000, Mansfield Vic 3724 or via email to council@mansfield.vic.gov.au

All written submissions lodged with Council will become public documents available for inspection by the public in accordance with the Local Government Act 1989.

Authors of written submissions will be entitled to appear in person or by a person acting on their behalf at a meeting scheduled for Tuesday 30 May 2017, commencing at 2.00pm in the Council Chamber.

Public Information Sessions
Information sessions explaining the proposed Budget 2017-18, Fees & Charges 2017-18 and 2017-21 Council Plan will be held as follows:

• Mansfield - Municipal Council Chamber – Tuesday, 2 May commencing at 6.00pm
• Melbourne - The Waratah Room, Whitehorse Centre, Nunawading – Wednesday, 10 May commencing at 6.30pm

These sessions, facilitated by Councillors and senior officers, will also provide information on current issues facing Council.
