Community Group Representatives are notified in writing in August each year and invited to apply. Each Small Town must nominate a committee to oversee the distribution of funds within its own community. This Community Committee (representing the entire community), on meeting the essential eligibility criteria, will receive a $1,000 base grant payment. Further, each Community Committee will receive $10 per member to a maximum of $1,000 or 100 members. Proof of membership is required. Each small town has the potential to attract a total of $2,000.
