The Mansfield Shire Council has joined with six other north east Victorian councils to form Solar North East. This will give local residents and landowners access to industry leading solar grid connect systems at a discounted rate - community members can offset or completely cover their energy bills whilst making a positive environmental contribution.

Solar North East has endorsed ZEN Home Energy Systems to roll out the program and they will be holding information sessions throughout the region - find out more about solar systems and understand how they can be incorporated in residential properties and businesses.

The next information session for Mansfield Shire is to be held at: Council Chambers - 33 Highett Street Mansfield VIC 3722 Monday 13 February 2012 - Call in anytime between 3.00pm & 7.00pm.
