Environment Committee
The Mansfield Shire Council, at its Ordinary Meeting on 17 January 2012, resolved to disband the Environment Committee as a Section 86 Special Committee of Council. Under the same resolution, Council supported the formation of the Environment Advisory Committee under the Local Government Act 1989.
There will be an Expression of Interest process commenced for membership of the Environment Advisory Committee in accordance with its new structure. Formal approaches will also be made to particular organisations, including both the non government and government sectors, regarding representation on the Committee.
This process will occur shortly.
