Economic Development and Tourism
Tourism & Economic Development Advisory Committee
The key functions of the Mansfield Shire Tourism & Economic Development Advisory Committee:
- Review the Economic Development Strategy Action Plan for presentation to Council annually
- Make recommendations to Council on initiatives, issues and opportunities pertaining to, and that may impact on, business sectors and community.
- Respond to requests from Council, the Chief Executive Officer and or the Tourism & Economic Development Manager regarding issues and opportunities that are presented to Council from: individual proponents; groups; and or agencies of government and make recommendation pertaining to the subject matter.
- Advise and assist the Tourism & Economic Development Manager on matters pertaining to initiatives outlined in the Economic Development Strategy, Strategic Tourism Statement and other reference material that may be presented for advice.
