Snow at Craigs Hut
Mansfield is situated about two and a half hours north east of Melbourne, is a major gateway to Victoria’s famous High Country, Mt Buller and Mt Stirling Alpine Resorts and the second largest in-land waterway in Australia – Lake Eildon.

Grazing and timber harvesting historically created what is today a vibrant rural district of some 7,000 residents.

Tourism, farming and lifestyle living now underpin the strong economy of the Shire.

For detailed information on all the destinations and activities in the Shire, please visit the Mansfield-MtBuller website.
